ObamaCare

I sincerely hope ObamaCare works better than expected, because some version of it is likely to pass. And there's no doubt the current system sucks. Anyone who believes the U.S. has the best healthcare system is at best uninformed.

And while I proudly voted for Ron Paul, I was relatively happy when Obama won. Not because I believed he would bring the troops home, or stop the spying on US citizens, or balance the budget, or uphold the constitution. I didn't. Neither Obama nor McCain was going to make any of that happen.

It just figured to lessen the hatred the rest of the world had for the US.

The following is simply a timeline of events. You can read on and decide for yourself if you think ObamaCares about your health.

Are You Getting Enough Mercury?

The summer of '08 looked fairly promising on the mercury front. Senator Obama had introduced S. 906, the Mercury Export Ban Act of 2008, which prohibits the transfer of elemental mercury by federal agencies, bans U.S. export of elemental mercury by 2013, and requires the Department of Energy to designate and manage an elemental mercury long-term disposal facility.

And Candidate Obama's 2008 Obama/Biden 'Plan for a Healthy America' stated this fundamental goal:

"Reduce Risks of Mercury Pollution. More than five million women of childbearing age have high levels of toxic mercury in their blood, and approximately 630,000 newborns are born at risk every year. The EPA estimates that every year, more than one in six children could be at risk for developmental disorders because of mercury exposure in the mother's womb."

Even the FDA was forced to finally do something to protect Americans...

Under court order from a settlement with the Consumers for Dental Choice (a nonprofit that educates the public about the health and environmental dangers of mercury fillings), the FDA was forced to withdraw claims of mercury amalgam's safety from its website and issue the following advisory:

"Dental amalgams contain mercury, which may have neurotoxic effects on the nervous systems of developing children and fetuses."

Pretty tame, given the extreme toxicity of mercury, but a huge leap for the corporate-funded FDA nonetheless. And the FDA had even agreed to strengthen its warnings against mercury amalgam fillings after completing its research.

ObamaCare To The Rescue

So with all this progress on an issue so obviously important to President Obama and ObamaCare...

May 2009, President Obama's nominee, Dr. Margaret Hamburg, is confirmed without controversy or opposition to the post of FDA Commissioner. The same Margaret Hamburg who had just served for five years, at an annual salary of $250,000 for a few hours work, on the board of Henry Schein Inc., a $4 billion firm that distributes medical and dental supplies, and is the nation’s #1 distributor of mercury amalgam.

July 29, 2009, the FDA releases its much-anticipated "warning" on mercury amalgams.

Surprise! The FDA classifies mercury amalgams as Class II devices, which means the FDA considers them completely harmless. In direct contradiction to the conclusions of the FDA's own panel of scientific experts, and the findings of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT).

And a sweeping victory for Henry Schein Inc.

Ellen Brown wrote on WebOfDebt.com:

"Consumer advocates were stunned, as the FDA had earlier agreed to strengthen its warnings against mercury amalgam fillings. The evidence against mercury amalgam dental fillings was considered so compelling that Sweden, Norway, and other countries had already banned their use entirely.

Degussa, Germany’s largest producer of amalgam and the world’s largest producer of metals for dentistry, completely shut down its amalgam production after a federal court ruled that dentists who used it faced legal liability. The FDA was expected to follow suit."

Dr Joseph Mercola wrote at Mercola.com:

"FDA’s rule, published August 4, says there will be no warnings to patients, not even young women and parents of young children, that the mercury from the amalgam fillings is a reproductive toxin and a neurotoxin.

FDA even gives the amalgam industry the green light to sell and place amalgam without disclosing to consumers that the fillings are mainly mercury, even though the agency is aware of the industry’s long-time deceptive practice of marketing amalgam as 'silver fillings'.

As a further step to conceal the mercury and its risks, the FDA even pulled from its website a warning that dental mercury can cause neurological damage to children and fetuses -- despite signing a contract in 2008 with Consumers for Dental Choice...

Every scientist in the world knows that mercury is a virulent neurotoxin that can kill unborn children and cause permanent neurological harm to a child’s developing brain. But the FDA doesn’t want patients to know any of this."

Dr Mercola posted another article, by Charlie Brown, JD, which states:

"In 2002, the agency pulled from the market a mercury-containing ointment for horses, and proclaimed zero tolerance for mercury in any product used to treat an animal. The FDA ruled that mercury is so toxic to mammals, it had no duty to prove its presence actually harms horses.

When it comes to mercury-containing products marketed to the humans however the FDA’s zeal evaporates. The FDA requires mercury critics to prove actual and widespread harm -- the shocking opposite of its position on protecting animals.

Interestingly, the FDA policies ignore warnings from the Environmental Protection Agency that one in seven American women of childbearing age has so much mercury she is at risk of having a brain-damaged child."

One final note on the subject, again posted by Dr Mercola:

"For Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, speculation focused on her close financial ties with dental products colossus Henry Schein Inc., the top distributor of mercury amalgam in the U.S. Hamburg served six years as a director, pulling a salary of a quarter million a year and holding stock worth at least another quarter million, according to the Wall Street Journal.

In a new development, Hamburg has confessed to trading in Schein stock options two months after taking office, up to as late as two weeks before the rule was announced, and contacting Henry Schein Inc. to unload more of her options as late as the day before the rule was announced.

Her defense in light of this obvious and massive conflict of interest is that her profits were small.

Seeking to stop this stormy swirl of slime, Charlie Brown of Consumers for Dental Choice filed a complaint with the U.S. Inspector General."

If President Obamacare is bothered at all about any of this, he's keeping it to himself. But in his defense, he is pretty busy promoting ObamaCare.

How About Frankenfoods? Getting Enough?

President Obamacares so much about your health that he selected Michael Taylor, former chief lobbyist for Monsanto, as the new "food safety czar" at the big-pharma-funded FDA. Really, I'm not kidding.

Dr Al Sears posted the following on his website:

"Talk about putting the fox in charge of the hen house…

President Obama recently selected Michael Taylor, former chief lobbyist for Monsanto, as the new "food safety czar" at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Think about that: The former lawyer and lobbyist for the company that manufactured Agent Orange will now make decisions about our nation’s food supply.

Taylor is the man most responsible for getting recombinant bovine growth hormone (rbGH) approved for use in dairy cows. That’s the stuff that fattens the cows to dangerously obese sizes, getting them ready for slaughter faster (By the way – Monsanto produces the growth hormone).

And the food safety concerns don’t stop there. The push for producing food faster extends to the produce you eat, too.

Genetically-modified seeds and hormones are now staples in the food you eat. You drink it in your milk, eat it in your cheese and yogurt, and ingest it each time you eat commercially-raised, grain-fed beef.

Since these seeds hit the market in 1996, we’ve seen:

• Children reach puberty at earlier ages
• A dramatic rise in asthma, autism, obesity and diabetes
• A jump in food allergies, especially among children
• Allergy-related emergency room visits double from 1997-2002

Your health is too vital to leave it in the hands of corporate lobbyists and their political cronies."

Not content with destroying all hope of desperately-needed FDA reform, and despite massive public outcry, President Obamacare selected former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack for Secretary of Agriculture.

That's right, the champion of genetically engineered crops, cloned dairy cows, and factory farms is now in charge of US agriculture.

Swine Flu Scam

If you are considering getting the swine flu vaccine, or God forbid, having your children get it, please watch Dr Mercola's interview with Dr Russell Blaylock first.

Numerous valid studies have demonstrated that flu vaccines are virtually worthless for their target age groups and of dubious benefit to anyone. And flu vaccines often contain dangerous toxins (adjuvants) such as mercury, aluminum, and squaline.

And the fast-tracked H1N1/swine flu vaccines will have very little antigen, the actual virus, so will therefore be loaded with poisonous adjuvants.

Flu vaccines are far more deadly than the viruses they purport to protect us from. And this is nothing new. Among the millions of public domain books that Google has made available for free download is Charles Higgins' "Horrors of vaccination exposed and illustrated", published in 1920.

You need only read the first few pages to understand how long this unholy alliance between big-Pharma and government has been going on.

What *is* new is that the manufacturers of these toxic vaccines have now obtained immunity from monetary awards to their victims by the majority in Congress whose souls they own.

And President Obamacare's hand-picked HHS Secretary Kathleen Sibelius has used her authority to give immunity to the makers of Tamiflu and Relenza for injuries stemming from their use against swine flu.

She has also granted immunity to future swine flu vaccines and any associated adjuvants.

From the FoodConsumer.org website:

"The 2006 Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (the PREP Act) allows the DHHS Secretary to invoke almost complete immunity from liability for manufacturers of vaccines and drugs used to combat a declared public health emergency.

The PREP Act removes the right to a trial jury unless a plaintiff can provide clear evidence of willful misconduct that resulted in death or serious physical injury -- and gets permission to sue from the DHHS Secretary.

But once the PREP Act is invoked to shield manufacturers from liability, the pharmaceutical firms have no financial incentive to make the safest product, and have a negative incentive to test it for safety. As long as they do not deliberately harm consumers of the product, they will not be liable for damages."

Which explains why, as Dr Blaylock notes in the interview, all safety tests have been performed on vaccines "containing no adjuvant whatsoever". This is a scam of such deadly proportions that it makes the "Bird Flu Hoax" seem like a clumsy joke.

And ObamaCare has protected the thugs from their American citizen victims.

What Next?

Well, so far it's pretty hard to make a case that President Obamacare gives a rat's ass about my health or yours. It appears he was either grandstanding with the anti-mercury legislation to pad his resume, or he nominates whoever the money-brokers tell him to regardless of his personal convictions.

Either way, it don't look good for Obamacare.

I mean, if he won't stand up for us on something he professes to care a great deal about - toxic mercury exposure - on what will he stand up for us? It looks like we're totally screwed again, and ObamaCare looks to me like "chains you can believe in".

Now there may be valid and noble reasons for Obamacare's FDA/USDA nominations thus far. But I can't fathom what those reasons might be. Can you?

And you did know that ObamaCare has already cut a back-room deal with Big Pharma, right? Their profits are protected, and we lose again.
